Meta I. Dietert Heinemeyer

Meta Ida Heinemeyer, 96, of New Braunfels, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Kirkwood Manor. She was born to Adolph Dietert and Hedwig (Lehmann) Dietert in Zorn, Texas on July 3, 1916. She married Helmuth G. Heinemeyer on September 12, 1934 in Zorn. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Herman Sons and the Eagles Auxiliary. She is survived by daughters, Darlene Stephens of New Braunfels and Arlene Foxx of San Antonio; sons, Helmuth “Sonny” Heinemeyer and wife Betty of New Braunfels, Stanley Heinemeyer and wife Ruby of New Braunfels, and Kenneth Heinemeyer and wife Bonnie of San Antonio; nine grandchildren, Sherry Erben, Laurie Koehler, Michael Heinemeyer, Duane Peters, Leon Peters, Penny Coble, Melissa Weige, Taylor Gibbons, and Steven Foxx; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Helmuth G. Heinemeyer; five brothers, and two sons-in-law, William Foxx and James Stephens. Public visitation will begin 6:00 PM Sunday at Zoeller Funeral Home and continue until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 25, 2013 at Zoeller Funeral Home with Reverend Lee Zillmann officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
