Michael Glenn Mann Sr. "Hombre" went home to be with the Lord, his lost loved ones, and the Forever chapter Thursday, October 10th, 2019. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Mann, his mother Lillian Barnett, his son William Harris, his stepson Jason Villanueva, and his brother Al Mann. He is survived by his children Rodney Gregory, Michael Mann Jr and wife Claudia, Shirley Mann and husband Matthew, his grandchildren Rodney Gregory Jr., Ryan Gregory, Renessa Trevino, Geneva Gregory, Isabel Mann, Alyssa Mann, Lexie Mann, his great-grandchildren Alexis Aguirre, Rodney Gregory III, Cason Gregory, Arya Gregory, and Ryder Gregory.
Michael was born August 4th, 1948 in Athens, Texas. At the age of 17 he joined and proudly served in the US Army.
He was in the Traveling Guns infantry in Korea and the Vietnam War. He came home and shortly after started a family in Corpus Christi, Texas. He attended Del Mar College studying Physiological and Behavioral Ecology. Michael joined the Gypsy Motorcycle Club in 1973 being one of the original members nicknamed Hombre, was out a short period of time with the Legacy chapter, then became an Enforcer for the Gypsy's, became a Lifer, and was inducted into the hall of fame in 2013. His famous saying was "What time is it" with everyone responding "Party time". Michael worked for the postal service retiring at a young age. He was also a residential painter for many years eventually retiring due to health issues. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, attending motorcycle rallies, fishing, camping at the beach, and being amongst his family, friends, and the Gypsy family. Michael loved his family deeply and was very proud of all of them. He is loved by many, respected by all, and will forever be remembered for his heart of gold, funny sense of humor, loyalty, and honesty. He lived life his way. Always a brother.
