Miguel was born in New Braunfels, TX on March 8, 1999, to Maria Castro. He graduated in 2018 from New Braunfels High School. His passion for motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson’s, began when he got hired at Gruene Harley-Davidson in 2019. Miguel was currently working at Woods Cycle Country in New Braunfels. He started off as a delivery driver for the company and was recently promoted to sales in July of 2023. Miguel pridefully loved his job and loved all his Woods work family.
Miguel is proceeded in death by his Great Grandparents Miguel A. and Carmen P. Madero, Step-Grandfather Domingo Sauceda, Cousin Vincent A. Madero, and Childhood best friend Ylija Gomez.
Miguel is survived by Mother Maria Castro and Stepfather Jesse Davila Jr. and Father Erick Rodriguez, Twin Sister Adrienna Castro-Rodriguez, and baby sister Maliyah Davila. Maternal Grandmother Carolina Castro and Maternal Grandfather Joe Castro. Paternal Grandparents Ernesto and Rosalinda Rodriguez. Step Grandparents Juanita Sauceda and Jesus Davila Sr. Nephews E’lyh Schuetz, Fernando and Armani Hernandez. Uncles Joel and Xavier Castro and Rodrick Rodriguez. Aunts Darlene Gomez and Roxanne Davila. Godparents Apolinar Sanchez, Selena McKinnis, and Marie Vital. Great Uncles Miguel and Stella Madero, BIas and Sybil Madero. Great Aunts Lucy Garcia, Rosie and Ramiro Sotelo, Linda and Tim Anderson. 1500 Block Best Friends Caleb Love and Ryan Esqueda. He also left behind numerous cousins and friends.
Miguel lived life to the fullest and by his own rules, to know him was to know his captivating smile and his huge heart of gold. Miguel loved all of his family and friends, but he had the greatest love for his Mom, his Grandma Carol, his Twinkie Adrienna, his baby sister Maliyah, and all three of Tio’s babies. He was the light of our lives on this Earth and he’s an even bigger light from the Heavens above. Long Live Miggy.

Public visitation will be at Zoeller Funeral Home on Thursday, September 28 starting at 5:00 pm with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday morning at the Funeral Home starting at 8:00 am until 9:30 am when the service departs in procession to the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Braunfels, followed by burial at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park in New Braunfels.
