Molly Sue Knudson

Molly Sue Knudson of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 62. Molly was born to Wade and Sue Knudson on June 30, 1960 in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Molly graduated from New Braunfels High School. As she walked the stage, the entire graduating class gave her a standing ovation, which made her day so special. Molly liked sports. Anytime the Dallas Cowboys were on T.V., she was front and center cheering on her favorite team. You could see her daily in the yard playing golf, riding her bike or shooting hoops. Country music was Molly’s favorite. She also loved gospel, mariachi and, let us not forget, Lawrence Welk. On Sunday morning, we could find Molly singing in the choir at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She loved singing to the Lord, which was evident by the smile she wore while singing. Molly was a giver, she lived by these words, “Be ye kind – Be Happy and Love each other.” She lived by these words each day. She was a beautiful, innocent person. We know she is happy now, as she has made her journey home and is with the Lord. Molly is preceded in death by her parents. Molly leaves behind brothers Chuck Knudson and wife Azeneth, Andy Knudson and wife Kathy; sister Ann Stollewerk and husband Russell and numerous nieces and nephews. A public viewing and visitation for Molly will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 9:30 AM, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A burial will occur Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Olaf Rock Church Cemetery, FM4145, Cranfills Gap, TX 76637.
