Nina Ray Burkhart

Nina is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dean O. Burkhart.

She is survived by her children Jay Bolton and partner Antonio Yan, Deanna Parker and spouse Ron, Ray Burkhart and spouse Angie, Dawn Alexander and fiancé Stephen Cervantes – Grandchildren - Lucinda, Robyn, Dan, Colleen, Angela and Alejandro – Great Grand Children – Lindsay, Chase , Sheridan, Riley and Gavin.

Born in Rusk, Texas, Nina lived most of her life in Houston; moving to New Braunfels where she was a proud and fun member of the Sonshine Singers Senior Choir of First Baptist Church. The family sends sincere thanks to Vitas Hospice and especially to nurses Karen, Melanie and Susanna for their loving and compassionate care to Mom.

Visitation scheduled Tuesday, December 11, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, TX. 78130. Funeral Service is scheduled Wednesday, December 12, at 2 p.m., First Baptist Church, 733 Cross Street, New Braunfels, TX. Graveside service immediately following at Comal Cemetery.
