Ora Lee Dietert Henk

Ora Lee “Biddy” Henk passed away April 2, 2010. She was born to Hilmar and Orenia Dietert on March 20, 1925 in New Braunfels, Texas. She was a graduate of New Braunfels High School. She married Allan Henk on November 24, 1945 and He preceded her in death on August 11, 1998.

She leaves behind three sons; Chester and his wife Vera, Larry and his wife Lonie and Rusty and his wife Cindy. “Omie” had seven Grandchildren; Rodney Henk, Chris Henk and his wife Denise, Shanna Driebrodt and husband Ryan, Jennifer Knigge and husband Glen, Brandi Goebel and husband Jeff, Sheila Day and husband Andrew and Keith Henk and his wife Melissa. She was known as “Big Old Omie” to her 6 Great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 2010, at Zoeller Funeral Home, with family present to greet friends between 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at 2 p. m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Comal Cemetery.

The Family has requested that memorials be given to the American Heart Association.
