Aunt Pattie Lue Fulgham, born Aug. 7. 1928 to Arle Fulgham and Thelma McMurtrey Fulgham in Muskogee, Oklahoma and died May 25, 2018. Pattie graduated from Haskell High School in Haskell, Ok and attended Oklahoma Baptist University for 2 years. In 1950 Pattie moved to Washington D.C. where she was employed by the Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs for 34 years. During her time in Washington she was an active member of First Baptist Church, Washington where she sang in the choir, helped with the Children’s Choir and played accompaniment for several groups.
Pattie was an avid Bridge player, wonderful seamstress and a seasoned traveler. She visited many parts of the US and traveled to many countries.
After retirement she worked at a needle shop in Washington DC because she loved to do all types of hand sewing and was excellent at cross stitch, needlepoint, crochet, tatting, and hardanger.
Pattie moved to New Braunfels, Tx in 1995 to be closer to family. She was a member of FBC New Braunfels, she was involved with Christian’s Women Club and various Bridge groups in town.
Pattie was beloved by her nieces and nephews and all their friends who all called her Aunt Pattie too. She will be fondly remembered for her warm smile, quick wit and warm homemade rolls.
Pattie is survived by niece Marlece (Fulgham) Ebbesen of New Braunfels, TX, nephew Marc Fulgham and Becky of Cape Girardeau, MO and niece Marcia (Fulgham) Dean and Charlie, of New Braunfels, TX. Also, by great nephews Nathan Ebbesen, and Braden Ebbesen of Albuquerque, NM, Jacob Dean of Long Beach, CA and great niece Rachel (Dean) Martin and Ray of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by a great-great niece Montana Ebbesen and great-great nephew Davis Martin.
