Pearl K. Dietert

Pearl is survived by son, Clinton Dietert and wife, Karen of New Braunfels, daughter, Karen Behrends and husband , Monroe of Luckenbach; five grandchildren, Michelle Lowell and husband Chad, Jason Behrends , Jason Paul Bloch, Cody Dietert and Cory Dietert; two great-grandchildren, Courtney and Matthew Lowell, and brother in law, Leroy W. Dietert and wife Mary Ann. She is also survived by one brother, Marvin Kossaeth and wife, Ursula Kossaeth.

Pearl is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Lydia Kossaeth, husband, Leon J. Dietert, and siblings, Hilda Schroader, Ernest Koltermann, Laura Halbardier, George Koltermann, Willie Edwin Kossaeth, Freddie Koltermann, Sylvin Schneider, Lucille Harborth, Elsie Schneider, Evelyn Krueger, Alvin Kossaeth, and Anna Linda Keubel.

Pearl was an active member of Friedens United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School, enjoyed the Friedens Women’s Guild, held several offices, and volunteered on several committees within the church. She was also a member of the CISD PTA, Comal County Young Farmers, was a Judge at the Comal County Elections, and volunteered at the Comal County Fair Association Agriculture Exhibits.

Visitation will be at Zoeller Funeral Home on Friday, December 6, 2013, from 5-7 PM, and services with will be held at Friedens United Church of Christ on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 1:30 PM, with burial following at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ.
