Ramona Campos Martinez

On April 16, 2010 at 11:25 p.m., Ramona C. Martinez was called home to the Lord our Father. She retired from the VA Hospital where she worked for over 20 years after earning a bachelor’s degree in Medical Records Administration.

She is survived by her brothers, Sisto Manuel Campos and wife Amalia and Eddie Campos and wife Esperanza; children, Daniel J. Martinez, James E. Martinez and Brenda J. Martinez-Ponce; grandchildren, Lauren Denise Hamby, Taylor Grace Ponce, Nikaela Faith Ponce, Celeste Tina Danielle Ponce and Addison Elizabeth Ponce along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Zoeller Funeral Home, with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Zoeller Funeral home chapel. A procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be given to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church or to the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in LaVernia, Texas.
