The first time we met you were only two and a half years old. Dressed in your cowboy boots and strutting your stuff! What a sight! Here it is decades later and you were still walking with determination. You grew into a very good hearted man with your protective instincts firmly in place. I shall miss your sharp wit and very interesting posts on facebook. Earth has lost a fantastic person but heaven has gained a new angel. Like many of your friends, I will keep Alicia, Kelly, Shiron and Ray in my prayers. Rest In Peace Deputy Ray!

I didn't know Ray well. I do remember him from high school; he graduated a year before me. He seems to have lived a full life filled with love. I thank him for his service both in the military and law enforcement. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and I hope they find peace in the good memories they carry with them always.

I met Ray and Alicia a couple of years ago when they purchased my parents home. They were so excited to be there. Ray worked with my mom briefly at the City of Schertz and he was so kind. I pray the family feels God's loving arms and peace at this time of sorrow. Rest in peace Ray. ✝️🙏

I've had the honor, and privilege of calling Ray Horn my best friend, and brother for 30 years. I will always cherish the memories we've shared. Ray, and his family have had more of an impact on my life then they probably know. My thoughts, prayers, and love go out to Rays's wife Alicia, his mother Shiron, his father Ray, his sister Kelly, and to the rest of his family.
God Bless You Ray!! I love you brother!!

Ray and I met in 1994 in Moreno Valley, Ca, March Air Force base, 722nd Transportation Squadron. We were neighbors in base housing. We became very close friends during our tenure. Close enough to where he and Alicia were named godparents to my oldest son Lavell Andre Bartley. Even from our departure to separate bases and different parts of life and location, we remain close and kept in contact for over 23 years. He was that one person I could trust my families life with. Despite our differences, he was my brother....I LOVE HIM AND MISS HIM DEARLY!
