He graduated from Houston High School in Houston, MN and enlisted in the Marines. There he became an Air Traffic Controller, an occupation he practiced for 41 years.
He was a member of the Optimists, a Boy Scout leader and an AARP Defensive driving instructor. He was a proud member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bulverde, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Bob is survived by his wife, Anita; sons, Scott (Sandy), and Tod (Cheri), grandchildren; Lauren, Bryan and Erica.
Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 31, 2108 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bulverde.
