

He served as a Volunteer at Hope Hospice and St. Peter & Paul Thrift Store. He was a devoted Father of 5 children and an amazing Grandfather to 16 Grandchildren.
Rogelio is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gilbert, Sr.; sisters, Rosa Teneyuque and Janie Lopez.
He is survived by his partner, Mary Lou Garcia and children Rogelio “Rocky” Rodriguez, Jr., John Rodriguez and wife Brandi, Bobby Rodriguez and wife Priscilla; Daughters, Amanda Ybarra and husband Joe Michael, Amelia “Amy” Gomez and husband Alfonso; Grandchildren Isabella and Arisella Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Cassie, Gabriel and Matthew Rodriguez, Jayda Ybarra, Aubrey and Ella Rodriguez, Xaelin, Kylance, and Noxler Gomez, Michaela, Kiani, Cristella, Vincent and Vianna Ybarra.
He is also survived by his siblings: Lupe Carrasco (Marvin), Santiaga “Sandy” Santellan and husband Sandy, Martina “Tina” Hemphill and husband Glenn, Oralia “Lala” Timmermann and husband Anthony, Ana Fell and husband Robert, Arnulfo Rodriguez and wife Anita, Pedro “Pete” Rodriguez, Sr. (Debbie), and George Rodriguez and wife Nora, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rocky Rodriguez, Jr., John Rodriguez, Bobby Rodriguez, Arnulfo Rodriguez, Pedro “Pete” Rodriguez, and Tony Aguirre with Honorary Pallbearers George Rodriguez and Michael Inman.
Public visitation will begin at 5pm Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St., New Braunfels with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8am and continue until 9:30am when the service departs in procession to the church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am at Holy Family Catholic Church with Celebrant Father Francois. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 6510 FM 482 Wenzel Road, New Braunfels, Texas.
