Rox was one of my first friends when I moved to Texas in 1983. She encouraged me to join FFA and play sports at NBHS. She was a genuine friend and always made me laugh during athletics. My heart is sad that she had to endure so much but I know she is in Heaven taking care of all of our animals until we can get there. Rest easy sweet friend...you will be missed but never forgotten ❤️

Roxanne, you were an amazing person! We may not have seen each other very often, but I've always admired you. Your skill level as an athlete was amazing! Your strength and tenacity were unsurpassed. You were a great mom! If we were to look up the word "Warrior" in the dictionary, your picture would certainly be there.
Justin, I remember you coming out to the ball field with your mom when she would play, you were still a toddler. You kept us in stitches with some of the stuff you would do. You are a great son! You are an amazing young man! Thank you for taking care of your mom.
Many hugs and blessings,

Katie Holtzclaw

Roxane was truly a fighter, she battled cancer longer than most could have. She was a great mom to Justin and he was the reason she kept fighting. Our thoughts and prayers are with Justin and her family. May she rest easy in Heaven.

You will be missed Rox! You fought longer and harder than any warrior I know. So glad you are now pain free and probably bowling or fishing or doing something fun already. Keep uncle Butch in line! Until we meet again! Love you always!
