

Lee Farmer, 77, of Marion, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital New Braunfels. He was born to Raymond Farmer and Forest Lee (Hankins) Farmer in Pelzer, South Carolina. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 22 years. He was a flight engineer for Special Air Mission in Hawaii and Vietnam and also for the Thunderbirds. After his military career He started working in the Heating and Cooling business. He enjoyed traveling, wood working, gardening and photography.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Farmer of Marion; daughters, Nadine Farmer-Brink of New Braunfels and Cheryl Farmer and husband Lorenzo Garza of Austin; grandchildren, Katherine Brink and Elise Garza; and a niece, Elizabeth Busch. He was preceded in death by his parent; brothers, Arthur Daniel Farmer and Richard David Farmer.
A Graveside Service will be held at 9:45 AM Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
