

Russell “Rusty” Bowles, 58, of Seguin, Tx, passed away on Friday, 28 February 2025. Born on 04 June 1966, Russell dedicated his life to service, both in the military and in his community. He was a loving Husband, wonderful Dad, Friend, Brother, Cousin, and Christian.
Russell proudly served in the United States Army from 1984 to 2009, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. His military career took him to various parts of the world, including tours in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, where he earned numerous commendations for his bravery and leadership. His commitment to his country was unwavering, and he was a source of inspiration to all who knew him.
Following his distinguished military service, Russell continued to serve his fellow servicemen, working as an exemplary Facilitator at Serco, where he worked for 3 years. Known for his dedication, compassion, and excellence, Russell left a lasting impact on those he served and worked alongside.
In his retirement, Russell enjoyed reading, music, spending time with his wife, grandkids, family, friends and his dogs (especially his best friend doggie Luca boy). He was also an avid motorcyclist and an active member of the Chariots of Light Christian Bikers Ministries. Russell loved spreading God’s word and was passionate about serving the community, spending free time ministering in the juvenile detention center with Ring of Champions.
Russell is survived by his beloved wife and high school sweetheart, Tina Signorello-Bowles; his children, Joshua Bowles, Tony Bowles and Lacy Morris; step-children, Anthony Signorello and Nicolas Williford; his grandchildren, Rhett Ashton Morris, RaeAnn Pearl Spencer, and expected grandchild; and his sister, Cynthia Bowles. Russell is preceded in death by his parents, William Norman Bowles and Patricia Lorene Lacy. His legacy of service, love, and dedication will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
A funeral service to honor Russell’s life and service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, 11 March 2025 at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Tx 78130. Military honors will be rendered at the Funeral Home, military burial will occur at the Fort Sam Houston Cemetery at later date.
