Ruth went to her heavenly home on May 12, 2019 at the age of 90. She was born on July 11, 1928. Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Warren B. Lytle and son, Richard Lytle. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa A. Griffith; son-in-law, Steven Griffith; granddaughters, Stephanie Griffith, Lauren Griffith and Kellie Griffith; Joel Rivas and great-granddaughter, Remi Zapata.
Ruth graduated from the Coppini Academy of Fine Arts in San Antonio, Texas. She was a renowned artist who loved to paint beautiful landscapes. Ruth and her husband Warren were avid wood workers and enjoyed refinishing furniture and making gifts for the church. Ruth was an avid gardener and could make anything grow! They made a great team. Together they joined St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bulverde where they were lifelong members and were active in Parish Council and Sunday school.
Ruth’s Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bulverde at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. A private inurnment will follow. Please send flowers to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 29797 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Bulverde, Texas 78163.
