A beloved soul who touched many lives, and our beloved wife and mother, Senaida Cordova Martinez, 83, of New Braunfels, Texas, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 4, 2025. She was born to Pedro Cordova and Soledad Fuentes Cordova in New Braunfels, Texas on December 28, 1941.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew G. Martinez, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Garza; son, Andrew C. Martinez; daughters, Dina C. Martinez–Gomez and husband Alfred and Donna M. Benavides; grandchildren, Amber Ebert and husband Gary; Edward Garza; Noah Benavides, Chloe Gomez, Nick Gomez; Isaac Martinez; Christian Martinez; Lola Martinez and Audrey and Joe Imperial; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Ebert, Lyndsie Ebert, Kacie Ebert, Kylie Ebert and Mia and Malachi Imperial; great-great-granddaughter, Nalani Ebert. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers and 4 sisters; daugher-in-law, Crystal Martinez and son-in-law, Rudy Benavides;
Public Visitation and Viewing will begin 5:00 PM Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 9:00 PM. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. Visitation will begin again 8:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home and continue until 10:30 AM when the service departs in procession to the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Committal Service will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Pall-Bearers are: Edward Garza, Nick Gomez, Isaac Martinez, Christian Martinez, Noah Benavides, and Hector Martinez.
