We've lost another one of our good ones. My heart goes out to Dorothy and to all of the close kin and buddies of Steve. Those of us who got to know him will never forget him. May he find comfort and peace in heaven.

My memories of Steve make me smile. I was blessed to be around the family during our younger years. I always felt love when I was with Steve. The last time I saw him was at his Mom’s funeral (I believe). Steve was in a wheelchair, but he still had a sweet smile. My condolences to the family.

I worked with Steve at the SO back when we only had 9 deputies. I worked permanent midnight shift patrol. This was back probably 1983. Steve was a guy everyone looked up to. He was a patient man and I learned a lot from him. He was always avaliable for questions when I needed answers. He will be missed by his SO group.

My condolences to the family. Steve worked for the Comal County Sheriff's Office when I started there in 1981. He was always friendly and helpful. Made a lot of calls together. There weren't but about 8 of us then. May he RIP.
