Her children give tribute to a woman who was denied her right to play in the symphony on this earth, due to her gender, but who’s now playing the Bassoon in the symphony in heaven. You were a trailblazer and broke down many barriers for women throughout your life, and the lessons you taught will carry on forever. Thank you for being a wonderful mother and an incredible role model. Yes, the burdens of life took their toll, but even in illness you still managed to make those around you laugh. God saw that you were suffering and that your burdens were too hard for you to carry anymore, so He brought you home to be with Him. It’s now time to rest your mind, heart, and soul at be at peace mother.
We love you and will see you soon,
Kathy, Matt, and Lisa
