Susan Louise Roy

Susan Louise Roy passed away on June 19,2026 at the age of 59 due to cancer related complications. Susan's laughter, generosity, and exuberant sprit will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Susan was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Daniel and Sue Lahm. She grew up there surrounded by family and was especially close to her two sisters - Claudia and Leah. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Claudia. Susan looked forward to a heavenly reunion with family and friends that passed before her. Susan is survived by her sister, Leah Bush, brother-in law Steve Bush, and niece Shannon Bush.

Susan enjoyed sitting outside in the sun, reading, '80s music, a good hamburger and a cold Dr. Pepper. Susan held several jobs in her lifetime but the ones that fulfilled her the most - as a nurse's aide and an infant daycare teacher - were those where she provided love, comfort, and support to others. She felt God's purpose for her was to be a cheerleader, a listener, a prayer partner for those around her. Susan would want us to carry her legacy forward by showing everyone in our lives empathy, compassion and grace.

In accordance with Susan's wishes no services are planned. Memorial donations may be made in Susan's name to The American Cancer Society.
