Tom was born in Houston Texas to George A Farda Jr and Dorothy L Stuessel Farda. He grew up in Lubbock Texas and graduated from Monterey High School. After high school Tom became certified at Texas State Technical Institute in auto mechanics. He retired from the City of Waco. Tom enjoyed watching NASCAR races, and spending time with his cats, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife of fifty-three years, Linda.
Family preceding him in death are his wife Linda, father, mother, brother Mike Farda, and nephew Paul Comer.
Survivors include Sisters in Law: Janie, Lorienda, Brenda, and Debbie. Nephews: Stephen, Jarod, Brian, Michael, and Mark. Nieces: Carrie, Laurie, Amee, and Renae. Special friend: Brett.
