Velma H. Friedeck – Smith, 92, of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Eden Hill Community. She was born to Frank Friedeck and Mary Jandt Friedeck in Seguin, Texas on July 16, 1922.She is preceded in death by her first husband Herbert C. Friedeck; second husband, James L. Smith; 10 sisters and 5 brothers. She is survived by 3 step children; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her dogs, Oliver and Pickles were loved as if they were her children.
Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Friday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 8:00 PM. A Graveside Service will held 10:00 AM Saturday, June 6, 2015 at San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin, TX.
