Vernell Pfeil Schultz, 90, of New Braunfels, TX passed peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. She was born to Hugo Pfeil and Linda nee Beyer Pfeil in Austin, Texas on August 10, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Schultz. Vernell married Vernon Charles Schultz on November 28, 1945 a Redeemer UCC. She is survived by numerous cousins and friends who will always cherish her memory.
She attended Clemens School in San Antonio and later worked at Randolph Field for several years. She served in various churches over the year and also held many offices as a member of Hermann Sons.
Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Friday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Redeemer UCC in Zuehl, Texas with Reverend Lee Zillman officiating. Interment will follow in Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to Redeemer UCC or to Hope Hospice.
