Veronica Gonzalez Flores

Veronica Gonzalez Flores passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the age of 39. She was born in New Braunfels, Texas on June 22, 1982 to Toribio Gonzalez and Elida Esquivel Gonzalez. Veronica was a graduate of Canyon High School. On January 18, 2005 she married the love of her life Miguel “Mikey” Flores.

Veronica loved to dance, sing, study different cultures and religions, loved spicy foods (the spicier the better). She enjoyed spending time with her baby nieces and nephews and loved teaching them games. She was a fashionista, just like her mom, and loved vibrant colors. Most of all, Veronica loved her family, friends and cat.

Veronica was preceded in death by her parents, Toribio and Elida Gonzalez; sister, Elizabeth Gonzalez Castilleja; maternal grandparents, Vicente Esquivel and Eudelia Campos Esquivel; and paternal grandparents, Santos Gonzalez and Manuela Garza Gonzalez. She is survived by her husband, Miguel “Mikey” Antonio Flores; newborn son, Dominic Anthony Flores; sister, Esmeralda Gonzalez; nephew, Christopher Castilleja; niece, Jessica Castilleja; grand nephews and nieces, Elijah, Isaiah, Isabella, and Anastasia; and her fur baby, cat Boo.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home.
