Viola Morales

Viola Morales beloved daughter, sister and aunt, born June 8, 1932 to Roberto Davila and Angelita Morales Davila in New Braunfels, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025. Viola was a faithful Roman Catholic. She was a dedicated and long-time employee of New Braunfels ISD. Viola treasured her years as a teacher’s aide where she nurtured and supported many children as they began their educational journey. Viola was a caregiver for numerous family members throughout her lifetime. In addition, she was an excellent cook and you were blessed if you enjoyed one of her memorable meals. When not cooking, Viola could be found working in her yard or keeping her home in immaculate order.

Viola was preceded in death by her mother Angelita Davila, father Roberto Davila, sisters Delia Cantu and Yolanda Trevino, and brother-in-law Carlos Cantu.

She is survived by her brothers: Roberto Davila (Marie), Rolando Davila; nieces: Anna Cantu, Elsa Cantu, nephews: Carlos Cantu, Robert Davila, James Davila, Joseph Davila, Luis Trevino; great nephews: Jordan Davila, Braden Davila, and many other family members and friends.

We will always remember the sacrifices Viola made and the loving care she showed each of our family’s generations.

Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Wednesday at Zoeller Funeral Home and continue until 7:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, December 4th 2025 at Zoeller Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
