Virginia R Soto

Virginia Soto, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the age of 82. Virginia was born on May 21, 1931 in New Braunfels to Andrea Arismendez and Julian Rodriguez. She was a loyal and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Santos Rodriguez and Nicolas Cruz; sisters, Maria Corona, Jesusa Gomez and Angela Rocky.

Survivors include her loving husband Jose C. Soto of 42 years; her children, Jose Gomez, Fernando Gomez and wife Yolanda, Rudy Soto and wife Wendy, Jesse Soto and wife Brinda; 7 grandchildren, Jose F. Gomez, David J Gomez, Kassandra R Soto, Savannah N Soto, Trinadad K Soto, Vanessa Soto and J.J. Soto; 3 great grandchildren; Ryan Gomez, Yoshi Gomez and Alejandra Gomez; 2 brothers, Manuel and Abel Rodriguez and 2 sisters, Juana Gomez and Rosa Puentes.

A visitation will be 4 to 9 pm on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Zoeller Funeral Home with the Rosary recited at 7 pm. A procession will depart Zoeller Funeral Home, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 8:30 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9 am. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will included, J.J. Soto, Trinadad Soto, Jose F Gomez and Ryan Gomez.
