Virginia Lee Wilson went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in New Braunfels, Texas. She was born July 19, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Orie Sudik and Anna Masopust. Virginia attended Moore High School in Oklahoma and married Jack Lee Wilson in 1948. They moved to New Braunfels in 1973. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack after 57 years of marriage and her sister Evelyn Franks.
Virginia is survived by son, David Wilson (Mary Kay) and daughter, Anna Zigalo; 5 grandchildren: Jon Wilson (Shea), Scott Wilson (Kristen), Christopher Zigalo, Brooks Wilson (Michele), Nikolas Zigalo (Amanda), and 6 great grandchildren and one due in February.
She was a proud member of Eastern Star #771 in New Braunfels. Virginia also volunteered in the gift shop at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital. She loved gardening - especially orchids, and spent her early years as a florist in Oklahoma City. She was also a member of New Braunfels Presbyterian Church. Virginia loved traveling with her husband Jack and friends.
Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at 1pm at New Braunfels Presbyterian Church. A private family burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels, TX.
