Wesley Odell, Sr., of New Braunfels, passed away, Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the Eden Home. He was born to Eddie Francis Odell and Julia Savannah (Whitaker) Odell in Hays County, Texas.
He is survived by his daughter, Mildred Syamken and husband Alfred, Jr. of Blanco; son, Wesley Odell, Jr. and wife Minnie of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Scott Syamken and wife Laurie of Boerne, Brian Syamken and wife Susan of New Braunfels, Tracy Preiss and husband Ricky of New Braunfels and Marcy Odell of New Braunfels; brothers, Barney Odell of Blanco and Laverne Odell of Dripping Springs; special friend, Margaret Rust of New Braunfels; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife, Doris Odell.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Zoeller Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hope Hospice or to the Eden Home.
