Adalbert W. Korzinski

Adalbert “ AL” Korzinski , 57 died on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Hartford Hospital as a result of a hard fought battle with heart disease. He was born in Wroclaw, Poland and has been a resident of New Britain for over 45 years. He was the son of Marian Korzinski and the late Wladyslawa (Gromadowska) Korzinski of New Britain.

He attended local schools and was a graduate of E.C. Goodwin Technical School. Since the age of 16 Al was employed at Story Bros Inc. as an auto mechanic. Currently he was employed as an International Strategic Analyst at Pratt & Whtiney Co. in East Hartford for over 30 years.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 34years, Maria (Fechter) Korzinski and his beloved children, a son Christopher R. Korzinski and his wife, Dorothy of Berlin, and his daughter, Alice C. Korzinski of New Britain. He is also survived by two precious grandsons, Sebastian and Evan who were his pride and joy. In addition he is survived by his cousins Jane Piorkowski, Edward Korza , and Andrzej Gromadowski with their families, as well as several relatives in Poland and Germany.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, September8thth at 8:30 am New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St. New Britain, Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
