

Aleksander enjoyed a life filled with simple passions. He loved to travel, and in his lifetime visited many countries accompanied by his wife Jane. He also enjoyed walking on the beach, fishing, gardening, bird watching, and wood working. He shared a deep and lasting companionship with his beloved dog, Lonia for 19 years. His home was a sanctuary of peace and comfort.
Aleks is survived by his wife Jane; nephews; Msgr.Bogdan Wrona, Artur Sarat, Karol Sarat and several cousins in Poland. He was predeceased by his parents and three sisters; Maria, Irena and Danuta.
Aleksander spent his final 2 months under the loving care of his wife for over 40 years, whose devotion was a true reflection of their lifelong commitment.
Special thanks to his nephew Mark, niece Ursula with family, sister-in-law Krystyna, and family friend Joe with his wife for their daily help, kindness and support. Also, to Lucy, the home caregiver who provided him with comfort and exceptional care in his final weeks. In addition, his friends and neighbors Msgr. Jerzy and Barbara.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Aleks family on Wednesday, July 8 from 5:00-8:00pm at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. His funeral service will take place at 9:30am on Thursday, July 9 at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain. He will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
