Alfreda Krzysztofa Adamczyk nee Kopera, 63, of New Britain, CT, born on September 24, 1954, in Lubicz, Poland tragically passed away July 5, 2018 in Stowe, Vermont. Beloved wife for 40 years of the late Eugeniusz; Loving mother of Slawomir and Marta; Dear sister of Kazimierz Kopera and his wife Barbara and their children Lukasz and Anna, and Grazyna (Lila) Knopinska (Kopera) and her children Grzegorz and Justyna; Preceded in death by her parents Wanda (Stepien) and Franciszek Kopera, Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews in the USA, England, Canada and Poland. Working in Poland as an accountant, she came to America in 2001 working passionately as Certified Caregiver (CNA). Always ready to share her genuine love of nature and animals, kind heart and contagious smile, she used her talents to help others around her and lit up a room with her humorous personality. Alfreda was a member of the Holy Cross Church choir. She enjoyed classical music and the arts. Often reciting poetry, she read and wrote poetry that was published in the local Polish newspaper. Her passion for the environment and its conservation was years ahead of its time. She will be greatly missed for her warmth, faithfulness and helping hand. You are in our hearts forever. VISITING HOURS WILL BE WEDNESDAY JULY 11, 2018 from 4-8pm at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:00am in Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Burial of the cremains will be in the Lipowy Cemetery in Gliwice, Poland at a later date.
