Alice Faye Abata

Alice Faye (Bradley) Abata, 66 of New Britain passed to the gates of heaven on Monday, June 18, 2012 with her beloved family and friends by her side. She was born in Tuckerman, AR and has lived in New Britain for many years, were she was a manager of Skinner Credit Union. Alice was a loving mother and a devoted friend; she enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved her animals. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Abata Jr. and is survived by her beloved son, Charles Abata III and his wife, Tracy of Southington. She leaves her devoted best friend of 37 years, Betty Carbone and her husband, Frank of Rocky Hill; cousin Eddy D’Avanzo of FL,special niece Angela Bradley, a close friends, Nella Balurdi, Thomas and Jolene Ubermuth. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2012 from 5 to 8:00 PM at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Memorial Services will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Directions, Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right.
