It is with great sorrow that l have to say good bye to my dear friend & neighbor, Angel, also known as "Mikey." My adopted big brother.

At last "Mikey" is at peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to Peter, his daughter & the rest of Angel's lovely family. He is very deeply missed. I hope he can listen to his favorite salsa music forever. πŸ•ΊπŸ’ƒ

Mike was the toughest & most independent man l ever knew, especially when his health was starting to fail.

He refused to give up & returned home repeatedly in spite of being knocked down so many times the last 3 years.

Last month l bought you a few more cans of your favorite guava juice, with hopes of sharing them with you in person when l saw you again. πŸ˜₯

I have always been amazed at how thoroughly you enjoyed cooking for yourself every day. You were a really good cook! 😊

You were like a kind big brother to me & always made me laugh during our visits. I really enjoyed helping you with your electronics, your tablet, PC & cell phones.

I'm attaching a photo of you from your 75th birthday party held here at the Jefferson. You look so happy! I really enjoyed meeting your many family members at the party.

I called you again about 2 weeks ago to have your caregivers give you virtual hugs via the nurse's station. They were very kind & said you were resting & would give you the message in the morning. πŸ’–

I miss you Mikey.

Hugs, love & prayers from your adopted little sister,

Bev # 120
