Aniela Kasica

Aniela (Bakaj) Kasica, 95, of New Britain passed away on December 11,2023 peacefully in her sleep. She was born in Wola Ranizowska, Poland and immigrated to New Britain, CT in 1967 with her husband and children. She was predeceased by her husband Franciszek (Frank), her brother Joseph Bakaj of New Britain and five sisters; Zofia, Kasia, Maria, Ewa, Józefa.

She leaves behind her sister, Hanna Trybulska in Poland and her four children, Sophia Rodin of Broad Brook, Maria Wiszniak (Ryszard) of Wethersfield, John Kasica (Cindy) of Bristol, and Gene Kasica (Rebecca) of Amston. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Anna Wasik (Paul), Elizabeth Segda, Julia Rowland (Dale), Renata Tavares (James), Adam Wiszniak (Eleana), Daniel Kasica (Jessica), Jefferey Kasica (Kristen), Katie Kasica and 11 great grandchildren. She enjoyed family gatherings,and loved to cook traditional Polish dishes. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, reading and watching her favorite TV shows, especially, Soap Operas.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday December 15, 2023 from 4PM to 7PM. A brief gathering will be held on Saturday December 16th, 2023 from 9:00AM to 9:30AM. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church 31 Biruta St New Britain at 10AM. Interment Services will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery 662 Burritt St New Britain at 11AM
