Anna Bujda

Anna Bujda, 93, of Newington, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2022. Daughter to the late, Stefan and Tekla Wypychowicz, Anna was born in Poland and moved to the United States in 1951 with her husband Aleksander, son Richard, and daughter Diane. Anna and Aleksander raised their children in the New Britain area before moving to Newington. Anna worked at Emhart Corporation for most of her life making keys and locks. Anna loved spending time in her garden tending to all her different flowers, enjoying spending time with her family, watching a multitude of game shows and Red Sox games. On any given sunny afternoon, you could find Anna sitting in her garage visiting with the neighbors and their dogs. In addition to her husband, Aleksander and her parents, Anna is predeceased by son Henry Bujda, and daughters Diane Czeremcha and Joanne Czerwinski. Anna is survived by and will be deeply missed by her son, Richard Bujda and his wife Kathy, of Berlin; grandchildren: David Czeremcha, Tom Czeremcha, Todd Czerwinski, Mark Czeremcha, Nick Bujda, Beth Czeremcha, Melissa D’Angelo, Amanda Bujda, Elizabeth Bujda, and Chelsea Bujda; great-grandchildren: T.J, Justin, Nathan, Tyler, Mason, Austin, Jaxon, Jasmia, Isabelle, Hayli, Audri, and Autumn; son-in-law, Ted Czeremcha, of New Britain, and daughter-in-law, Eileen Bujda, of Westbrook. The whole Bujda family would like to thank Hartford Heath Care at Home for their love and support as well as the nursing staff and Dr. Alla at Hospital of Central Connecticut. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, Broad Street, New Britain at 10:00am. Friends and family are invited to call upon Anna Bujda’s family the evening prior, Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, Farmington Avenue, New Britain from 5:00-7:00pm. Interment services will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Burritt Street, New Britain.
