

She was born in Hartford and has lived in New Britain for most of her life. She was a graduate of Bulkeley High School and St. Francis School of Nursing.
Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and her greatest joy was taking care of her family.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Thomas P. Miano; she leaves three children, Marietta Rubitz and her husband, Deacon Michael Rubitz; son Peter Miano and his wife, Maureen and Thomas J. Miano all of New Britain. She leaves her grandchildren who where her pride and joy, Alek; Ian; Hannah and Connie Rubitz. She is also survived by her sisters, Rose Paternostro of Farmington and Francis Tremont of Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Rose (Florio) Paternostro and her sisters, Mary Vitelli and Micheline Pagani.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 9:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue New Britain.
Funeral liturgy of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church, corner of Clark and North St., New Britain. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, April 14th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
