Anna Zuk, 92, of East Berlin died Sunday June 26, 2022. She was born in Poland. She lived in New Britain and moved to East Berlin over 20 years ago. She was a member of St. Pauls Church in Berlin. She retired from Stanley Works in 1995.
She is survived by her devoted family: sons, Ted Zuk and his wife Wendi of Kensington, Frank Zuk and his wife Michelle of East Berlin; daughter, Grace Chmielewski and her husband Mariusz of Newington.
She cherished seven grandchildren who were her pride and joy: Elizabeth, Jessica, Brianna, Shayna, Kyle, Katelyn and Nicholas.
She is also survived by her brothers, Edward Pirog and Stanley Pirog and sister-in-law Barbara Pirog as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Eugeniusz Zuk and her loving grandson Nicholas Zuk.
She adored her grandchildren and spending time with them. She was an amazing cook and you had to eat with Anna in her kitchen. Her pierogis were perfect! She started cooking at the age of six.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Pauls Church, 461 Alling St., Berlin, CT 06037. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 4PM until 7PM at New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT 06053.
