He was born on May 28, 1953 in Poland. Tony was predeceased by his parents, Aleksandra and Antoni Pianka. He was a life-long resident of New Britain, member of Sacred Heart Church. Tony worked for many years at Moore Medical. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his vacations at Cape Cod. Tony is an inspiration to those who new him how he carried himself through life.
Tony is survived by his sister, Mary Siwik and his brother-in-law Andrew Siwik, their two sons Tom and Christopher Siwik, their wife’s Alexandra and Melissa Siwik and their children Ian, Siena and Jarret. His two brothers, Mitchell Pianka and his wife Rose Ann Pianka, their three son’s David, Adam and Stephen and their wife’s, Kimberly, Angela and Ashley, their children Sebastian, Angelina, Oliver and Samuel. Dr. George Pianka, his wife Audrone Pianka and their four sons, George, Paul, Mark and Matthew as well as numerous cousins and relatives.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am in Sacred Heart Church. A committal service will follow in the Chapel at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday morning from 8:30am to 9:30am at New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain. Donations can be made in Anthony’s memory to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to Sacred Heart Church, New Britain for daily masses.
