I'm just crushed to learn that he passed away. I never met Artur in person, but he and I would occasionally play online games together. He struck me as a very sincere and loving person. Artur would frequently speak of his daughter whom I know he was so proud of.

You will be missed, friend.

Teamsters local 671 has lost a brother this past week suddenly. Long time UPS /teamster member Arthur choromanski
. on a personal note i worked with arthur and had the honor of representing him for well over a decade at work as his union rep , I always looked forward to talking to arthur a fellow music lover someone who in my weekly rounds through the UPS preload in hartford I would swap conversations abought music , guitars , basses , sound engineering and bands we liked he was never in trouble never complained , always worked hard everyday And the normal break in business as usual for me always was greatly appreciated his quiet and kind demeanor left a lasting impact to all that worked with him . His sudden passing has rippled through the UPS/Teamster brotherhood in hartford and he will be greatly missed .

Artur and I have a lot of great memories. One of the best was sharing our love of music and enthusiastically showing each other new music we always wound up loving, listening to each other’s music was so encouraging for both of us. We loved hanging out listening to vinyl LP's, watching great underground films, having the deepest and most meaningful conversations. The best memory was the day we met, as if we already knew each other. We bonded instantly.

He was the kindest soul I ever came to know. I wish for all of you to find comfort in all the wonderful memories you have all shared throughout his life. Strength in your faith and confidence in knowing he is not truly gone but, only from this world. Yet forever living in the arms of God and surrounded by loved ones that departed before him. He will be with you in spirit from now to eternity. X”

I never met Artur in person, we connected through a weightlifting page about 3 years ago. Initially our conversations were more geared towards kickboxing and weight training but we developed a cyber friendship if you will and began to converse more about life and family. We would speak multiple times a week via messenger. I often told him it be neat if we actually lived within driving distance of one another. I know that he loves his family he was extremely talented with music and that was something we had in common was our taste in music especially the heavy metal and hard rock. Artur would always give me a thumbs-up on certain video I would send him of my progress at the gym. He truly motivated me. I believe he is home in the presence of the Lord, we shall see him again someday in the future. RIP Artur.
