She was born in Middletown and has lived in New Britain for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Emil and Ruth (O’Donnell) Schrafft.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and worked in Sears and the Marriott.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Orren , a sister, Marjory Laposky and three grandchildren, Dana Hansmeier, Katherine Tolene and Seth Tolene.
She is also survived by a devoted friend, Deanna Anglovich and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Peter W. Florio and Michael C. Florio
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 16th at 11:00 am at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Friends and relatives may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10 am till the time of service.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
