Barbara Ann Naples

Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Mieczkowski) Zysk. She graduated from the Mary Immaculate Academy.

Barbara loved her hometown of New Britain, where she worked for the New Britain Housing Authority for many years.

Barbara was very active in the community as she was a member of the Rosary Guild of St. Joseph's Church and the Junior Women's Club of New Britain.

She is survived by her son, Gary Naples, and daughter-in-law, Kirsty, and three loving grandchildren Cameron, Lisa, and Isla Naples of New Britain. She is also survived by her two loving grandchildren Kaitlyn and Michael of Green Bay, WI. Barbara also leaves behind her brother, Raymond Zysk of Berlin, CT, and her sister, Joyce Chester of East Windsor, CT.

Barbara had a special bond with her grandchildren from both states and greatly valued what time she got to spend with them.

Barbara was predeceased by her son Michael Scott Naples and her daughter Lisa Marie Naples.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Monday November 24th at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home on 444 Farmington Avenue in New Britain. A Funeral Mass to honor Barbara will take place at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Church at 31 Biruta Street in New Britain, followed by a Repass at the funeral home Event Center at 444 Farmington Ave.
