Betsy Ann Andrews, 84, of Plainville, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019. She was born in Wareham, MA, a daughter of the late Tony Lopes and Tally (Gomes) Dillion. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness and a Unit Secretary at New Britain General Hospital for 34 years. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Donna Jefferson of Waterbury and her son Antone Andrews of Groton, her six treasured grandchildren, Niaomi (Jefferson) Carter Glenside PA, Belinda (Jefferson) Mason North Chesterfield VA, Alexandra Meija Rhode Island, Nichole Andrews Maryland, Gregory Jefferson Winter Springs FL and Corey Jefferson New Britain CT, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11AM at the New Britain Memorial and Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, CT 06053, a time of visitation at the funeral home will be held from 9AM-11AM prior to the funeral.
