I cannot believe I’m traveling to Connecticut to lay you to rest Nana.

For nearly 40 years you have poured your wisdom, resilience and quiet strength into me. Thank you for holding on as long as you did. I knew this day would eventually come but man the pressure in my chest and the lump in my throat won’t seem to go away.

Working on your funeral program had to be one of the most difficult things I had to do but I managed through with a heart of gratitude counting it a privilege that my family would trust me with summarizing your amazing life.

Nana you certainly were one of kind and I’ll forever be grateful to be your eldest grandchild. Thank you Heavenly Father for giving her rest.

My sincere condolences to Donna and Antone and families. Your mother was always loving and kind. I worked with Betsy for many years on N5 at NBGH. She always was helpful and well respected by the doctors and nurses. Betsy will be so missed by me and many others. May she rest in peace.
With much love,
Donna Dubowsky and Family
