Biagio Arduini

Biagio was born on February 4, 1934 in Frosinone Italy to Giovanni and Giuseppina Arduini. He was the beloved husband of Valentina Arduini for 54 years who predeceases him. He was employed at Fafnir Bearing for 40+ years and Keeney Manufacturing where he was a foreman.

Biagio enjoyed gardening, making homemade wine and especially enjoying Sunday dinner with his family. He used herbs from his own garden to make his homemade sauce which his family enjoyed. Biagio was an avid fan of the Italian Soccer team and always watched the World Cup.

Biagio is survived by his children, Fred Arduini and his wife Paula, Gene Arduini and his wife Rosanna, Paul Turriziani and his wife Krystyna, Rita Ettorre and her husband Vincenzo. He was a very proud “Nonno” to Antonio Ettorre and his wife Sarah, Laura Ettorre Piccioni and her husband Stefano, Siana, Derek and Desiree Arduini as well as his precious great-grandson Vincenzo Ettorre and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

Besides his wife, Biagio is predeceased by his brothers, Ernesto and Alfredo Arduini and sisters Giulia and Filomena.

He will be missed dearly but will be remembered for his hard work, kindness and immense love for his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Ann’s Church New Britain. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral mass from 8:30AM to 10:00AM at New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT 06053. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
