Carmen Joseph Giarratana, 68, of Kensington, passed away February 26, 2015. He was born in New Britain, a son of the late Sebastian and Carmella (Intagliata) Giarratana. He was the owner of his own landscaping business. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He is survived by his beloved wife Pamela (Jaeger) Giarratana, his daughter Lisa Lichniak and her husband Shawn of Rincon, GA, his son John Giarratana and his wife Leeanne of Whitman, MA, his brother Sebastian Giarratana and his wife Linda of Cheshire, his sister Connie Rady and her husband Charles of New Smyrna, FL, his five treasured grandchildren Frankie and Sophia Lichniak and Charles, Lydia and Owen Giarratana and several nieces and nephews. The Life Well Celebrated Service will be Friday March 6th, at 11AM at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino FH, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, CT. Burial will be private. A visiting hour at the funeral home, will precede the service from 10-11AM.
