I met David on the job in 1978 and my life was changed in the most significant way forever. Intelligent, thoughtful sensitive, kind. The bond we share will never be broken. Pekah Wallace and son Jay. May he rest in peace.

Pat- I just learned of Davids passing from Tori. Words cannot convey the shock and sorrow I feel. David was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor. I know how happy you were together. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers everyday.

Dewey Martin was an original guy who was intelligent, unafraid to express divergent opinions and very willing to wander "the road not taken." He could be challenging and cut through bogus sentiment. He had a wild laugh and interesting sense of humor. After returning from Korea, he encouraged me to join the Peace Corps + changed my life in unexpected ways. A one-of-a-kind guy. mark bergeron

Bob, Laurel, Charles, and Patricia,
I am so sorry for your loss. David was such a wonderful person, I only wish I could have known him better. My favorite memory of David is of him being surrounded by the Martin Clan at our 1990 family reunion in Montana, trying to teach us how to do the Electric Slide and sharing his love of dance. Everyone had such a great time and it is a memory that will always be with me. He will be missed. All my thoughts and prayers are with you.

If a hug could take away your pain, we'd send one - If words could make your sadness disappear, we'd use them - yet we all know the shocking reality of what has happened is beyond our ability to rectify. What we can do, however, is offer our prayers - to you, David and your entire family. May God bless all of you and give you extra strength at this very difficult time.
