Clifford White

Clifford Francis White, a New Britain native and a long time Berlin resident passed away on Thursday April 24, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by many of those who were privileged to know and love him. Clifford was a caring and generous husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois (Rich) White, sister Beverly (White) Wright, son Clifford White (Kim White), daughters Kimberly (White) Esposito (Chip Esposito) and Jodi (White) Lombardi (Gregory Lombardi), and grandchildren Charlie Esposito (Olivia Spence), Jason White (Nyasia Pagano), Jackson Lombardi (Cortina Barbieri), Harrison Lombardi, Shaun White, Lindsey Wierbicki, and Steven Wierbicki. He is also survived by life-long friend Chick Costanzo.

Known for his humor, family-centric mindset, and his numerous catch phrases, the founder of Somerset Plastics Inc also served as an example of hard work, sacrifice, and overcoming adversity. He will continue to inspire and live on in the hearts and memories of those fortunate enough to have known him. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Church 461 Alling St. Berlin, CT 06037 at 10am on Saturday May 3rd. In lieu of sending flowers, please honor Clifford’s memory and legacy by sharing a home-cooked meal and a few jokes with your own families. Rest in peace Poppa.
