Born on September 12, 1960 in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Stephen "Las" Lawrence, a native of Jamaica and Sylvia (Dmytryshyn) Lawrence. Her daughters and grandchildren will forever treasure the dresses and quilts she created for them. Donna loved being by the water, especially while watching the sunset at Hammonasset Beach. In recent years, she found great pleasure in visiting Camp Walumat with her family each year. She also loved watching her grandson Charlie’s baseball games and being entertained by her grandchildren Kate and Jax. Donna’s Christian faith gave her great peace and comfort. Donna will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, courage and unwavering love of her family, who are heartbroken about continuing without her.
