Edward Bialczak

Edward was born on January 20, 1936, in Baranowo, Poland. He was a devoted husband to his lovely wife, Władysława for over 60 years, a loving father to Hanna Rulka (husband Miroslaw) and Krzysztof Bialczak (wife Jolanta), a proud grandfather to his four grandchildren (Jessica Keller/husband Bartek, Kevin Bialczak, Jennifer Osgood/husband Cody, & Kevin Rulka) and a great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren: Liam and Niko.

Edward strived to provide the best life for his family. Over 40 years ago, he emigrated to the United States, where he pursued his American dream with determination. He started from scratch working tirelessly to provide a greater life for his family. In Poland, he was a respected veteran who worked as an electrician and had a passion for electronics. With these skills that he developed, it allowed for him to further his dream to reality. He was ambitious and a resourceful individual, always striving to achieve his goals.

After retirement, Edward never experienced boredom and rarely took time to rest. He enjoyed taking walks on the beach with his wife, visiting Poland during the summer, and spending time with his family.

Unfortunately, his life slowed down after being diagnosed with cancer last year. He fought bravely this past year to overcome the illness.

Our beloved father will forever remain in our memories and hearts. Now, he has the time to proudly observe his successors, who will continue his American dream. We believe that one day, we will meet again in heaven.

Calling hours for Edward will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A brief gathering prior to church will occur Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Church 158 Broad St. New Britain will occur Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial service at Sacred Heart Cemetery 662 Burritt St. New Britain will occur Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
