Edward Stroczkowski, 92, widower of Jadwiga Stroczkowski, passed away on August 2, 2015, after a long illness with family by his side. He was born on October 27, 1923 in Bialystok, Poland to Jan and Wladyslawa (Kisluk) Stroczkowski. He immigrated to the United States in 1963 and settled in New Britain, CT, where he was employed as a skilled machinist in the aerospace industry. He retired from Pratt and Whitney aircraft in Southington, CT in 1993. A wonderful and responsible father, he enjoyed fishing, dancing, and time spent with his family, and will be remembered especially for his faith in the value of education. He leaves his sons John Stroczkowski of Buffalo, NY and Mark Strokowski of Belmont, MA and a loving daughter Barbara Zebrowski of Shelton, CT, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 from 9-10:30am, followed by a Prayer service at 10:30am at New Britain Memorial Donald D.
