Elaine Rosalia Jones

Elaine Rosalia Jones, 78, of New Britain, passed away on May 9th, 2022 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Kenneth Jones for 57 years, Elaine is the daughter to the late Louis and Stella Weksner. Elaine grew up in the city of New Britain and attended New Britain High School. Elaine worked for the State of Connecticut, was a member of Holy Cross Church, and enjoyed volunteering for many organizations. In addition to her adoring husband, Kenneth, Elaine is survived by her sister Cynthia Mitchell and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours for Elaine will be held Monday, May 16th, 2022 between the hours of 4 pm – 7 pm at New Britain Memorial Funeral Home. A brief gathering prior to church will occur Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 from 9:00 am – 9:30 am. A burial mass will be held at Holy Cross Church at 10 am, followed by a burial service at St. Mary’s Cemetery at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elaine’s name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation: National Headquarters, 6520 N. Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.
